Close to My Heart

Proud to announce that I'm now a Patron of the i cosplay charity. It's a cause close to my heart as I was severely bullied as a child for being different. It's amazing to spend time with such fantastic, eclectic, passionate people in a friendly socially accepting environment. I love the convention scene and cosplay.

I share the patronage with two fantastic actors Chris Barrie who is best known as the hologram Rimmer in the hit series Red Dwarf and, Ross Mullan who you have seen in Game of Thrones as the head White Walker

i cosplay was originally formed in 2014 when Sarah and Dan Parker’s 14 yr old son was bullied in high school for enjoying cosplaying. It quickly became very popular and Sarah and Dan were swamped with followers and other cosplayers who shared their stories of how bullying had impacted and affected them. Then i cosplay morphed into a campaign against bullying of cosplayers and amongst the cosplayers themselves.

i cosplay has grown into a positive platform for cosplayers to support each other.

"i cosplay is not about the negative – We are here to help you, encourage you and gain confidence that you CAN cosplay no matter what. We are a community, a collective, a family and are here to help each other."
